About Hunger
Posted by Vincent C on Friday, December 4, 2015,
Feeling hungry is not an entirely simple experience in our complex world. Many of us have become accustomed to feeling hunger that has been initiated by clever and disarming advertisements for food. We've been conditioned to eat when we feel anxious and stressed by the pressures of life. Today, I had some straight forward thoughts about the essential and basic phenomenon of hunger.

Your hunger threshold is adjustable- We needn't eat the moment we feel hungry. When you first feel hungry, t...

Learn from your trainer
Posted by Vincent C on Wednesday, November 3, 2010,
You've decided to hire a personal trainer to help you reach your goals.
It's usually smart to get the advice of a professional, rather than

painfully difficult to endure, because it is half-truth. The other half
is that it feels good to be good, but in a different way. Drinking,
smoking, sugar eating (we should call that desserting), these
activities are intoxicating. Literally in-toxicating. The brain
swirling, body numbing...

My training experience...
Posted by Vincent C on Sunday, March 29, 2009,
My experience and methods are quite diverse. I started weight training in the classic bodybuilding fashion, then, once I gained some needed
weight, moved on to powerlifting and weightlifting. I continued
studying and practicing almost exclusively in these modalities until I began training in the martial arts and military style PT (calisthenics, running, swimming). I have extensive experience in implementing the strength/speed/endurance periodization paradigm as applied to: sprinting, kickbox...
